  • Central Coast Carvers - Since 1974! Meets weekly online every Tuesday at 10:00AM to share ideas and techniques for wood carving.
  • Central Coast Woodturners -Central Coast Woodturners is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) and serves woodturners in the coastal areas in the middle of California.
  • Jory Brigham Designs - Furniture Building Workshops - Spend a long weekend woodworking alongside a master craftsman and bring home a modern heirloom designed and build by you in the hills overlooking California's Central Coast. Check out Jory's handcrafted furniture here.
  • SLO Makerspace - Membership to SLO MakerSpace gives you 24/7 access to their creative spaces and an incredible list of tools.

  • American Hardwood Information Center (for profit)
    • Promoting use of American Hardwood products: flooring, cabinetry and furniture, millwork and building materials for residential and commercial.
  • American Wood Finishing Institute (for profit)
    • Delivers knowledge to the professional coating application industry. Provides training and consulting for finishers from one man wood shops to large companies.
  • Woodworkers Guild of America (for profit)
    • Established in 2008, this organization presents an extensive archive of woodworking videos, articles, project ideas, product reviews, Q&As with expert woodworkers. Some videos are free, while others are pay-per-view.
  • Woodwork Career Alliance of North America (non-profit)
    • Founded in 2007, this organization supports workforce development for the woodworking industry, which includes certification and training of new and existing woodworking professionals.
  • American Association of Woodturners (non-profit)
    • This organization is dedicated to advancing woodturning worldwide through education. With more than 13,000 members and over 365 local chapters globally, AAW members include amateurs, hobbyists, professionals, gallery owners, collectors, tool and equipment suppliers, and others.
